My Travel Blog: Seeking Our Ancient Ancestor's Migratory Patterns

I am setting out on a journey. I want to trace the route my ancient ancestors took. Where did human life begin? Why did humans travel to different areas of the world? Why do we all look different and speak differently? These are the questions I'm going to answer on this quest. I am using the work of Spencer Wells to start my journey. He discovered a tribe with the most ancient DNA, the San Bushmen.dna.gif

By using DNA as an archeological tool, scientists can trace the migratory patterns of humans all over the world. Using mutations as genetic markers, DNA samples can be compared with other samples to see how close they are from each other. Analyzing how close DNA samples are can show how close different races are from each other, indicating the direction of migration.
